• inventory assets,
• determine income,
• pay debts,
• notify beneficiaries,
• calculate taxes,
• prepare inheritance and estate tax returns,
• prepare informal and formal accountings,
• make distributions, and,
• if necessary, file an ancillary administration in a foreign jurisdiction.
